About Jeevanii
Jeevanii computes Vedic astrology to the standard practitioners expect, and gives it away free. No signup, no paywall, and no fear-selling.
Why it exists
Most free astrology online is thin. It reads a Sun sign, or at best a Moon sign, and fills the rest with generic copy. Most paid astrology has the opposite problem: it identifies a frightening placement and sells a remedy for it, often without checking whether the classical texts consider that placement cancelled in the first place.
Jyotish deserves better than both. It is a technical discipline with real computation behind it: divisional charts, six-fold strength measurement, conditional cancellation rules, and a timing system derived from the Moon's exact position at birth. That work is what makes a reading worth reading.
What it computes
- All sixteen divisional charts, D-1 through D-60 (Shodashavarga).
- Full Shadbala: the six-fold planetary strength measure, reported in rupas.
- Yogas and doshas with their classical cancellation rules (bhanga) resolved rather than assumed.
- Vimshottari dasha with mahadasha and antardasha dates derived from your birth nakshatra.
- Remedies and structured sadhana, as practice rather than purchase.
- Raga therapy drawn from a 157-raga dataset, matched to your chart rather than to a mood you pick.
What it does not claim
Jyotish is a traditional system of guidance, not a science and not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or psychological counsel. For decisions in those domains, consult a qualified professional.
We are also explicit about the limits of the computation itself. Shadbala implementations legitimately differ on several points, so our figures are a standards-based estimate rather than a settled truth. And the finest divisional charts, D-40 through D-60, demand birth-time accuracy of well under a minute. If your birth time came from memory rather than a record, those charts are indicative at best. We would rather say so than let you over-read them.
The sound side
A reading that ends in a diagnosis is only half finished. Jeevanii pairs every chart with practice: mantra, observance, structured sadhana, and the ragas the tradition points to for your particular combination. Recordings go up on our YouTube channel, and every raga in the 157-raga reference has its classical hour and emotional essence listed.
